Frequently asked questions about QLED and Mini-LED TVs

What is the difference between a QLED and a Mini-LED TV?

Both use an LCD panel. QLED refers to quantum dots for colour reproduction; Mini-LED describes backlighting with small LEDs. In models with local dimming, contrast and light control also depend on the zones and control system. The two technologies can be combined.

Should we specify the number of local dimming zones?

Yes, if it matters for your positioning. Zone counts vary widely between models and series: state it as a minimum requirement and we will check it on the models we propose.

Can you supply versions for different markets in one order?

Yes, subject to availability. Specify the tuner, menu language and plug for each country so we can plan quantities for each version.

When should we plan a TV purchase for a promotion?

As early as possible before the sales period, especially ahead of sporting events or Black Friday, when demand for larger sizes rises. Tell us the period and we will check availability.
